Waldorf & Wanda
A free welcome session for Waldorf Academy families!
Saturday, 10:30AM: The Story of Gareth (Ages 5-12)
In this session we tell the origin story of Gareth the Bulldog, who loves the good life and finds creative ways to get it! At key points in Gareth’s story we break away to play games and activities relating to the story. This session focuses on stories and play, and is not about competition. It is designed for kids 5 to 12, and their parents.
Sunday, 10:30AM: Wanda Olympics (Ages 5-12)
In these sessions, the fun is in the play, AND in the competition! Each family is assigned a team with the name, story, strengths, and weaknesses of one of the Wanda World characters. All of the teams compete across a variety of unusual and fun games and activities that test as many skills and abilities as possible (don’t worry, no set of skills is particularly helpful, and everyone has a chance to win!). This session is designed for teams of kids aged 5 to 12, and their grown-ups.
Sunday, 3:30PM: The Story of Ethel (Ages 3-5)
In this session we tell the origin story of Ethel the Squirrel, who has outrageous levels of energy and courage…but these strengths can also make her feel a little bit different! At key points in Ethel’s story we break away to play games and activities relating to the story. This session focuses on stories and play, and is not about competition. It is designed for kids 3 to 5, and their grown-ups.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can parents participate?
That would be great! But only if it works for you.
Wanda World is designed as a shared adventure that brings people together. It’s best for at least two people to explore, solve challenges, discover stories, and share laughs. So kids and parents playing together is one of the things that makes Wanda World so special. That said, we know it’s sometimes not possible for parents to play, so all we ask is that you hang out in our space while your kid does.
What age is best for Wanda World?
Our sweet spot is 5 to 11 years old. We've designed the experience so younger children can explore through imagination and play, while older kids enjoy the challenges, puzzles, and interactive activities.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. All visits to Wanda World must be booked through our online booking platform.
Booking online allows you to choose the date, time, and session that best suits your family, helping us create the best possible experience for every guest. As places are limited for each session, we recommend booking early—especially during weekends, school holidays, and public holidays.
Is Wanda World suitable for birthday parties?
Yes! Wanda World is a fantastic place to celebrate birthdays. Our interactive experiences encourage kids to work together, laugh together, and create unforgettable memories. Contact us on our website contact form if you’d like to make a birthday booking.
What should we wear?
Comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes are the best choice. You'll be moving around, exploring, solving challenges, and enjoying interactive experiences throughout your visit.
